Srinagar, June 19: Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Sunday said that militants can’t deter our efforts to bring peace in Valley and also said that operations will continue in South, Central and North Kashmir simultaneously.
While quoting IGP Kashmir, the Kashmir Police Zone on twitter wrote, ” By targeting innocent civilians including women & kids, unarmed policemen & outside labourers, terrorists can’t deter our efforts to bring peace in valley. Our counter-militancy operations will continue simultaneously in all 3 regions specially against foreign militants,”.
It’s pertinent to mention that gunfight is underway right now in Kulgam and Kupwara. Four militants including two Pakistani have been killed so far in these twin operations.(GNS)
