Kulgam, Jul 14: A 21-year-old youth died after a tree fell on him in Damhal Hanjipora village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday, officials said here.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the youth identified as Ubair Ahmad Kumar son of Ghulam Hassan of Pranhal Kulgam died after a tree fell on him at Gurwattan forest area of Damhal Hanjipora.
He said that the tree got uprooted due to gusty winds coupled with rains and it fell on the youth—(KNO)
