Handwara, July 19: In a rare feat of its kind in the Kralgund area of Qsziabad, doctors here in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district successfully conducted delivery of a patient, officials said.
While divulging the details, Doctor Showkat privy to the development told Correspondent that the CHC hospital at Kralgund received a patient (name withheld) arriving from Rawalpora on Monday last (July 18).
“The patient received was in last leg of her delivery date”, he said adding.
“Whole Night Duty of the hospital staff had to be taken into confidence to deal with the intricacies that may have resulted dealing with the patient”, he said adding “However under the abled guidance of ZMO concerned Dr. Showkat Mohammad the delivery was conducted successfully on 19.07.2022. Time 2: 30 A M.”
The other team members involved in the Delivery time included Jamsheed Ahmad OT, Javid Ahmad Lab and alongside nursing staff Mymoona and Safoora and nursing orderly Parvez Ah.
Expressing his satisfaction over the successful conduction of the delivery, Dr.Showkat said that “this will go a long way in boosting the morale of other fellow members of the fraternity.”
