SWAL Corporation Limited organised a farmer’s Awareness Program at Kralgund village in North Kashmir’s Kupwara to educate the apple growers. TSO Mr.Ishfaq Ahmad from SWAL Corporation Ltd conducted this program to enlighten the growers about how they can protect their apple crop from various pests and diseases and enjoy healthy and higher yields by using SWAL Products.
Kashmir’s apple output usually gets hit by scab and alternaria every season making it tough for farmers to get a good price. More than 50 farmers from different villages attended the Program. During the interaction, the farmers were assured of all kinds of assistance for the cultivation and processing of apple crops.
Useful information about new agro techniques for protection of apple crop was also shared with the farmers during this Program. Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad (TSO) highlighted the importance of SWAL products for high-quality cultivation of the apple crop. The Program concluded with a good response from the farmers.
“The participation of the farmers in the Program was quite commendable. We hope that the discussion between the farmers and the spokesman on various aspects of apple production will prove to be helpful to the farmers in taking forward the legacy of Kashmiri apples.
