Srinagar, Aug 8: Delhi Cabinet Minister and close aide of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal – Imran Hussain, who is also the in-charge Kashmir Election Affairs for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Monday said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will get free electricity, better health, and transportation service and best education model for their children if AAP comes to power in the erstwhile state.

Imran Hussain who is the Food Minister in the Kejriwal-led Delhi Government in an exclusive chat with the news agency Kashmir News Trust said that ‘development’ is the only face of AAP.

“AAP believes that Kashmir is a resourceful region where people have every right to get free electricity. People want better health care, a better transportation system, and the best education for their children and AAP will ensure that like Delhi, people of Jammu and Kashmir will get what they deserve,” Imran Hussain who represents the Ballimaran constituency of Delh said.

Imran Hussain who was in Kashmir Valley said AAP will contest all seats across Jammu and Kashmir and it is hopeful that people will repose their faith in the party.

“All the candidates that AAP will offer tickets will be on public demand. We will consult the general public so that corrupt free faces can contest the elections. ‘Imandari’ (honesty) is the model of AAP and we won’t accept those politicians in our party who don’t possess a good image. Big politicians are approaching us but we will keep it up to the people whom they want as their leaders,” Imran Hussain the incumbent Minister of Food and Civil Supplies and Election in Delhi Government told KNT.

He said Kashmir has the potential to develop on the lines of Switzerland and AAP will turn this into reality.

“If people of Jammu and Kashmir think and believe that AAP has really delivered goods in Delhi, they can elect this party in Jammu and Kashmir for better tomorrow,” Hussain said. (KNT)
