In an ongoing Palpora Premier League Kokernag Kings on Sunday lifted the title while defeating team Malik Sports by 3 wickets played at Palpora ground.

After winning the toss, team Malik Sports elected to bat first While setting a target of 94 runs for team Kokernag Kings.

While chasing the target, team Kokernag Kings finished the target set by opponent team in 8 overs.
Rayees Dar from the winning team (Kokernag Kings) was declared as Man Of Match (MOM) as well as Man of the series for his briliant knock through out the tournament.
As per the official a total of 32 teams of this mega tournament played 44 Matches.

Pertinently, besides being given the trophies and mementos to the teams among winner team and runner up team in the tournament were felicitated with the cash prizes of Rs 20,000 (winner team) and Rs. 10,000 for (Runner up team).
On the occasion Conveners of Palpora Cricket Club which were established to ensure the best possible arrangement for the conduct of the tournament also were felicitated with mementos.Roshan Kashmir News was Media Partner of the tournament.
Bilal Azaad on the occasion while appreciating winning team said that playing a game is important than winning or losing because, every game we play has its own importance and value in our life.
“Sometimes a game can change our lives. It is better to learn every-time, rather than seeing to winning or losing,” he said.
While speaking about the important initiatives the participation of students and non students in games and sports,

Saif ud din Malik as chief guest said that sports tournaments are proving very helpfull in tapping and channelising sports talent at grass roots level.

Other dignitaries were present on the valedictory cum award ceremony included Mohd Asif Naikoo,Nazir Ahmad Mir,Sartaj Ahmad,Malik Saifullah, Shabir Mir,Lone Danish,Majid bhat,Suhial Mir and Correspondent Sheikh Nadeem.
