Doda, Nov 09: At least four people are feared dead after a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into the Chenab river in Shibnote Karar area of Doda district on Tuesday evening.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the vehicle was on way from Doda towards Kishtwar when it skidded off the road and rolled down into the Chenab river near Shibnote Karar.
He said that four persons travelling in the vehicle are feared dead even as a rescue operation has been started.
He added that the rescue operation was getting hampered due to darkness
