Srinagar, June 04 :- A scooty was killed while as a pillion rider was injured in a road accident in Bijbehara area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Sunday.
An official told that an accident took place at Pazalpora Bijbehara in Anantnag district between scooty bearing registration number JK01L-5188 Wagon-R bearing registration number JK03D-7114.
In the incident scooty driver Ali Mohd Bhat (55) son of Gh Hassan Bhat resident of Pangzam Kokernag died on spot while pillion rider Rouf amAhamd malik (32) son of Mohd maqbool Malik resident of Panzgam received critical injuries who has been referred to GMC Anantnag for further treatment, he said.
In this regard case FIR No. 128/2023 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered and investigation has been taken up—(KS)
