Srinagar:  A man died during a lightening strike in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.

An official told that on Friday morning lightening struck in the Gudder area of Kulgam.

One person sustained injuries during the strike after which he was referred to the nearby hospital for treatment.

Upon reaching the hospital, the man identified as Abdul Hameed Khan son of Ghulam Hassan Khan, a local resident aged 40 was declared brought dead.

Pertinently, the plain areas of Kashmir have been receiving intermittent rainfall since Wednesday night. – Kashmiriyat
