Ms Labanga Gaya will receive her pension every month home delivered
New Delhi : There was a news that in Parlakhemundi, Gajapati District , Odisha the family members carried 95 year old woman on a cycle rickshaw to bank to collect her old age pension. The lady was not getting her pension for last three months. With no money to rent a vehicle the family members of Ms Labanga Gaya carried her on a trolley to the bank. How ever the bank returned then empty handed to approach the Municipality Office. After making few rounds she could withdraw her pension from the bank . On hearing the staff of Parlakhemundi Post Office reached her house and opened a zero balance India Post Payment Bank account yesterday. Now Ms Labanga Gaya will be able to receive her pension every month home delivered. Her daughter who lives nearby thanks Post office for the service.
