Srinagar, August 21: Militants likely to have given slip to security forces on Monday morning from Parigam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A top police officer told GNS that as the searches were resumed this morning at the encounter site, no militant was found as even drone service was used.
Presumably, militants likely took advantage of darkness and managed to escape since it is vast paddy field, the officer added.
There was a brief exchange of fire between militants and security forces yesterday and afterwards operation was suspended the night.(GNS)
