Kupwara: Cheif Medical Officer, Kupwara Dr. Mohammad Ramzan took a surprise visit to CHC ( Community Health Centre) Kralgund today in the afternoon and found the gynecologist section closed on the spot. Expressing is displeasure over the closure of the gynaecologist section, he directed the Block Medical Officer Langate, Dr. Mohammad Hafeez Khan that the said section should remain open from 10 to 4 pm without any excuses that too for the entire week for the betterment of the adjoining villages that lie in the catchment area of CHC Kralgund.
During his visit to CHC Kralgund, the CMO enquired about the facilities being provided to the patients and checked the attendance register and supply position of medicine.He asked the ZMO Kralgund to ensure that proper sanction is obtained by the staff from the competent authority while availing any kind of leave.
He stressed to the staff present there that they should provide the best medical facilities to the visiting patients in an efficient and hassle-free manner.
He also issued instructions to maintain discipline and punctuality as well as regularity so that patients may not suffer.
He was accompanied by BMO Langate Dr.Mohd Hafeez Khan.
He talked to the KNT that district administration Kupwara is very much serious about the Healthcare Sector and will no way accept dereliction of duty from any employee whosoever. Everyone from among us is supposed to perform is duty in letter and spirit and must be duty bound.
