Srinagar, Aug 30: Peoples Democratic Party has appointed Iltija Mufti as media advisor to her mother and party president Mehbooba Mufti.
In a statement, issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), PDP spokesperson Suhail Bukhari said that Iltija was appointed media advisor to Mehbooba Mufti today.
The statement reads that Iltija has been in charge of Mehbooba Mufti’s social media since 2019.
It reads she emerged as a leading voice and a vociferous critic of Centre’s decision to abrogate Article 370 at a time when mainstream leaders were put behind bars—(KNO)
