Srinagar, October 31: A policeman who was fired upon by suspected militants near Wailoo Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, officials said.
A top police officer told that the policeman Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Wailoo Tangmarg was shifted in critical condition to the Sub District hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Reports said that the slain cop is father of 07 daughters and was posted at DPL Srinagar as Reader to Dy.Sp DAR Srinagar .
Pertinently, on Sunday an inspector of Police namely Masroor Wani was critically injured after militants fired upon him on Sunday while he was playing cricket at Eidgah Srinagar. On Monday a non-local labourer was shot dead in Pulwama. (GNS)
