Jammu, Jan, 02: Shri S.J.M Gillani-IPS Addl. Director General of Police, Armed J&K today issued promotion orders of 01 Assistant Sub Inspectors to the rank of Sub Inspectors, 88 Head-Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-inspectors, 107 Sg.Constables to the rank of Head-Constables and 120 Constables to the rank of Sg.Constables in J&K Armed Police.

The promotion orders of the said Armed Police personnel were issued today after the DPC headed by ADGP Armed J&K as its chairman assessed the cases of eligible ASI, HCs, Sg.Cts& Constables and found them fit for promotion to their next ranks in light of the relevant promotion norms of the J&K Police organization.

The ADGP congratulated the newly promoted personnel and wished good luck to them and their families. The ADGP hoped that the newly promoted officer/ officials shall consistently demonstrate discipline, hard work and dedication towards their assignments and always come-up to the expectations of people.

Shri Mahmood Ahmed-SSP Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K and other senior officers of Armed Police Headquarters also congratulated the newly promoted officers. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by Shri S.J.M Gillani-IPS ADGP Armed J&K comprised of Shri Tahir SajadBhat-SSP, Commandant JKAP-8th Bn.; Shri Virinder Singh-SSP, AIG(P) PHQ J&K; Shri JeetanJiMatoo-SP, Dy.Commandant 1st Border Bn.; Shri Anil DevJamwal, CPO APHQ J&K; Shri Abdul Hamid Dar, Dy.SP (Pers.) APHQ; Shri Ashwani Kumar, Accounts Officer APHQ J&K and others.
