Kulgam, Jan, 08: Athar Aamir Khan, a 2016 batch IAS officer today took over the charge as Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam.
Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat handed over charge to the new Deputy Commissioner at mini-secretariat Kulgam.
On his arrival, the incumbent DC was accorded a warm welcome by officers present including ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri; JDP Zahid Sajjad and other senior officers.
On assuming charge as DC Kulgam, Athar Aamir stated that he will carry forward the pace of development in the district and his priority would be prompt service delivery and holistic development of the district.
Before taking over as DC Kulgam, Athar Aamir was posted as Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation & CEO Srinagar Smart City Limited.
