The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag put emphasis on development of playfields during various events of Block Diwas and directed all departments to play active role in developmental activities.

Total quantum of 19.5 kanal was freed from encroachers. The anti-encroachment drive was conducted on priority to meet the aspirations of local youth and to prevent funds from getting lapsed as the financial year 2023-24 is approaching closure.

The development of playfield will not only be an asset for the village but will also be a means to positively channelise the energy of the youth by engaging them in sports activities and keeping them away from anti-social activities such as drug addiction

The locals thanked the administration for their efforts despite adverse weather conditions
