Srinagar, Mar 24: A tragic incident unfolded in Safa Kadal, Haft Yarbal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday morning, as a man was brutally attacked with an unidentified object, resulting in critical injuries and ultimately claiming his life.

The victim, identified as Fayaz Ah Ganie, aged 37 and son of Wali Mohd Ganie, hailed from Haft Yarbal Safa Kadal.

An official told news agency— Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Ganie sustained severe injuries from the assailant’s weapon and was rushed to the nearest hospital for urgent medical attention.

However, he was declared dead upon arrival.

Law enforcement authorities swiftly responded to the scene, initiating an investigation into the tragic incident. The circumstances surrounding the attack remain under scrutiny as authorities work to ascertain the motive and apprehend the perpetrator responsible for this act of violence.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, and investigation has begun in this regard—(KNO)
