In anticipation of the upcoming Parliamentary elections, the Baramulla Police, in collaboration with the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), has initiated a series of flag marches across the district. The objective behind these marches is to instill a sense of security and harmony in the local community while ensuring that the electoral process remains free, fair, and devoid of any fear or intimidation.

Led by prominent officers such as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Pattan, Shajahn Chodhary, and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dr. Umar Urfan, along with the Station House Officer (SHO) Pattan, Khalid Fayaz, and other officials including DO Mirgund, these flag marches serve as a visible display of law enforcement presence in key areas.

The participation of both the Baramulla Police and CAPF signifies a collaborative effort to maintain peace and order during the electoral period. By showcasing a strong security presence, the authorities aim to reassure citizens of their safety and encourage active participation in the democratic process.

These flag marches not only demonstrate the commitment of law enforcement agencies to uphold the sanctity of elections but also emphasize the importance of community engagement in maintaining a conducive environment for free and fair elections.

The proactive approach taken by the Baramulla Police, under the leadership of dedicated officers, reflects their dedication to safeguarding the democratic principles and ensuring that every citizen can exercise their right to vote without any hindrance.
