Srinagar, Apr 07 : A person accused in a stabbing incident last night in Batamaloo area, has been identified and arrested within hours of his felony, said a police official here.
A police officer told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll that a person identified as Waseem Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Barampathri was arrested by the police today only.
Pertinent to mention here that one Shabir Ahmad Shabir Ahmad from Mehjoor Nagar was subdued and stabbed by the person at Rek Chowk Batamaloo.
The person is being treated at SMHS Hospital with his overall condition said to be largely stable. (KS)
