Budgam, Apr 21: Claiming that proxy candidates of BJP are in the filed against the National Conference, Lok Sabha candidate Rahullah Mehdi Tuesday said that the remarks of PM Modi against the Muslims are nothing but sheer frustration.
He said there are not only leaders from some political parties but also independent candidates who act as stooges of the BJP and their only role is to help BJP.
“We don’t accept those decisions taken in 2019. Everything was done forcibly without the consent of the people,” he said.
National Conference leader Rahullah Mehdi without mentioning the name of DDC Chairman Nazir Ahmed Khan said that it is ironic that despite being opposed by the majority of six members he is still clinging to the chair and that too with the support of authorities. “Is it democracy? In democracy, you have to respect the majority but here decisions are being imposed upon us against the will of the people,” he said. [KNT]
