Kulgam 12 June : Director Urban Local Bodies, Ms. Mathoora Masoom, along with EO Municipal Committee Devsar Aabid Afzal conducted an extensive review of the arrangements for the upcoming Zesht Ashtami celebrations at the Tripursundri Mata Temple in Devsar Kulgam. During her visit, she assessed the various preparations and expressed her satisfaction with the current state of arrangements.

Ms. Masoom stated, “All arrangements are up to date, ensuring a smooth and successful observance of Zesht Ashtami. The efforts of the local administration in organizing and maintaining the facilities are commendable.”

The review included inspections of sanitation facilities, security measures, and accommodations for the devotees. Ms. Masoom emphasized the importance of a seamless experience for the pilgrims and highlighted the dedication of the team involved in the preparations.

The Zesht Ashtami festival is a significant event, attracting numerous devotees to the Mata Kherbawani shrine. The administration has been working diligently to ensure that all necessary measures are in place to accommodate the influx of visitors and maintain the sanctity of the event.
