Kulgam, June, 21;International Yoga Day-2024 was celebrated across the district with the main function held at the lawns of the mini-secretariat, Kulgam.
A large number of locals, officers and officials of various departments, students of various schools/institutions participated in the Yoga sessions.
On the occasion participants performed different Yoga Asanas and were also briefed about the benefits of yoga which is a great practice for both the body and mind.
Yoga sessions were also held at district court, schools, colleges and other institutions in the district.
Meanwhile the District Administration facilitated live streaming of the Prime Minister’s event of Yoga held at Srinagar.
