Kulgam, June, 26: Kulgam Police observed “International Day against Drug abuse and illicit Trafficking” at various Police Units of the district and organized awareness rallies, debates & seminars all across the district. Banners & Placards on ill-effects of drug abuses were displayed at prominent public places to create awareness among the youth as well as society to stay away from drugs and the ill effects of the drug abuse were also conveyed through these means. All participants were overwhelmingly enthusiastic in their resolve to promote healthy and responsible lifestyle.
A pledge ceremony was also organised at DPL Kulgam, emphasizing the need to combat drug abuse. Officers and officials of various police establishments participated in the pledge to eradicate the menace of drugs.
