Srinagar, June 28: DGP R R Swain on Monday said sucessfull war against terrorism is not possible without the support of Jammu and Kashmir police.
” Whether it is in hills of Ramban, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri, Poonch or even in Kashmir, J&K is police is taking lead in information generation or operation.”
He added that Government of India is aware of the important role of Jammu and Kashmir police.
He also said that for the preparation for the Amarnath Yatra, extensive and meticulous security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety and security of all. (KNS).
