Kulgam, July, 11: An Army soldier hailing from Sahoo Sachin area of Devsar in Kulgam tragically lost his life in an oxygen cylinder blast in Kargil. The incident occurred during routine maintenance work, leading to the unfortunate explosion.
The soldier, who has been identified as Shahnawaz Ahmad Bhat s/o Abdul Aziz Bhat from Sahoo Sachin of Devsar, sustained severe injuries and succumbed to them despite immediate medical attention. The Army has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the blast and to prevent such incidents in the future.
