Kulgam, August 07:7:In order to take grassroots appraisal of public grievances, issues and demands, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Vikar Ahmad Giri today presided over a grievance redressal camp as part of weekly Block Diwas initiative of government at mini-secretariat Kulgam.
Officers from District Administration including ACD, Syed Naseer were present at the event.
Visiting delegations from Awhatoo, Gund, Katrasoo and various areas apprised ADC about their issues and put forth their demands.
Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.
After giving patient hearing to the public, ADC addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot and assured that the rest of the genuine issues and grievances will be addressed in a time bound manner.
Grievances redressal camps were also held at D.H Pora and Devsar.
