Kulgam 08 Aug: The 46 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) successfully organized a badminton tournament at the Indoor Stadium in Kulgam as part of its Civic Action Program. The event aimed to promote sports and foster community engagement among the local youth.The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from players across various age groups, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship. Matches were held in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere, drawing a significant crowd of supporters and local residents.
Commandant CRPF 46 BN Mr Davender, 2ic 46 BN CRPF Saruv Batnagar and District officer youth Services and Sports Kulgam Mr Mushtaq Ahmad pampori were present at the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, officials from CRPF 18 BN highlighted the importance of such events in encouraging the youth to channel their energy into constructive activities. The Youth Services and Sports Department also expressed their gratitude towards CRPF for their continued support in promoting sports at the grassroots level.
At the conclusion of the tournament, prizes were awarded to the winners and runners-up, highlighting the achievements of the top performers.
