Budgam, Aug 11: A massive fire engulfed an Imambara in Hanjuk village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, completely gutting the structure. The blaze, which broke out in the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, was so intense that it reduced the Imambara to ashes before firefighters, police, and locals could bring it under control.
Despite the efforts of the firefighting team, police, and locals, the Imambara was completely destroyed, leaving behind only a pile of ashes and debris. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated, and officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
