Kulgam, Aug, 13: In preparation for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, a late-night frisking operation was conducted under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Sh.Sahil Sarangal (SSP) Kulgam and the Station House Officer Lateef Ahmad (SHO). The operation aimed to ensure the security and safety of the public during the festive period.

The frisking operation, which took place in various key locations across the district, involved thorough checks of individuals and vehicles. The security personnel were seen meticulously inspecting bags, belongings, and identification documents of the people passing through the checkpoints.

SSP Kulgam emphasized the importance of such security measures in light of the prevailing security concerns during national events.

The late-night frisking operation concluded successfully.The authorities have vowed to continue such security measures in the run-up to Independence Day to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents.

As the nation gears up to celebrate its independence, the collaborative efforts of the police force under the guidance of SSP Kulgam and SHO have reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the public and upholding the spirit of freedom and unity.
