Jammu, Aug 16: The Home Department has accorded sanction to the creation of 772 posts in the Government Railway Police J&K and 83 posts in Prosecution Department.
As per an order issued in this regard, 1 post of SP, 2 of DySPs, 4 of Inspectors, 18 of Sub-Inspectors, 38 of ASIs, 88 of HCs, 260 each of SgCT and Constable, 28 of Follower, 2 each of Sub-Inspector (S) and Sub-Inspector (M), 3 of ASI (M), 2 of ASI (S), 5 of SgCT (M), 1 of Inspector (Tel), 2 of Head Constable (Tel), 14 each of Selection grade Constable (Tel) and Constable (Tel), 4 of SI (Photography), 8 of Constable (Photography), 12 of Dog Handler, and 4 of Kennel Boy have been created in GRP J&K.
Another order said that 8 posts of Deputy Director Prosecution, 3 posts of Senior Prosecuting Officer, 18 posts of Prosecuting Officer, 10 posts of Accounts Assistant, 20 posts each of Junior Assistant and Head Constable and 4 posts of Class-IV have been created in the Prosecution Department.
