Srinagar, August 20: The Director General of Police J&K, R.R. Swain and Special DG, J&K, Shri Nalin Prabhat decorated IPS officer Shri Sujit Kumar with the rank of Inspector General Police (IGP) in a piping ceremony held here today. IGP Kashmir Shri V.K. Birdi was present on the occasion.
The officers congratulated Shri Sujit Kumar and his family and expressed hope that he will continue to work with the same zeal and dedication for the department and for the people. The officers wished him good luck for his future endeavors.
Pertinent to mention here that Shri Sujit Kumar has been posted as Incharge IGP Security J&K by the government of J&K vide an order issued recently.
