Rajouri, Sep 03: Gunshots were reportedly heard in the Kehrot village of the Thanamandi area in Rajouri district on Tuesday, sources said here.
Reliable sources told that the sound of gunfire was heard in the Thanamandi area, following which security forces immediately took action.
They said a search operation has been launched in the area to trace the source of the gunfire.
When contacted, a senior official confirmed the incident, adding that they have launched a massive search operation in the area, and more information is expected as the search operation progresses.—(NVI
