Devsar, Kulgam, Sept.07: In a bid to strengthen their electoral position, National Conference and CPIM leaders held a joint meeting in Devsar today, ahead of the assembly elections. The meeting centered on rallying support for National Conference candidate Feroz Ahmad Shah, with both parties aiming to unite their voter bases and shift the electoral balance in Shah’s favor.
This alliance between the two parties is seen as a strategic effort to attract CPIM’s traditional voter base, while reinforcing the National Conference’s standing in the constituency.
Whether this collaboration will successfully translate into a shift in voter support remains to be seen, as much depends on the effectiveness of their campaign and the response from the local electorate.
