Kulgam, Sep, 09: A man and his wife seriously Injured in a road accident at Malpora Chowk along Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Monday.
An official told that an accident took place at near Malpora Chowk, when a tempo bearing registration number JK02BK 5227 hit the scooty JK18A 6914 while crossing the chowk, resulting the serious head injuries to duo both husband and his wife.
He said the duo were evacuated from the site to GMC Anantnag, the injured were identified as Sajad Ahmad Naikoo son of Abdul Majid Naikoo of Waripora Kund and his wife Flory Jan.
Confirming it, a police official said that a case has been registered in this regard for investigations, adding a tempo driver has been arrested and his tempo has been seized and both the scooty and tempo have been brought to PP Mirbazar.
