Fire Destroys Two Houses in Vovery Khull, DHPora, Displacing Four Families

Kulgam, Oct, 01: A devastating fire in the Vovery Khull area of DHPora has destroyed two houses, displacing four families. The affected individuals have been identified as Javid Ahmad Malik, Nazir Ah Malik, Bashir Ah Malik, and Imtiyaz Ahmad Malik.

The fire rendered both homes uninhabitable, resulting in severe losses for the families. In response, Deputy Commissioner Kulgam directed Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bashir ul Hassan to assess the damage and coordinate relief efforts. SDM Bashir ul Hassan visited the site to distribute immediate assistance, including financial support of ₹50,000 per family.

Local residents are calling on the Lieutenant Governor and district administration for further assistance to help the families recover from this tragedy. The community is rallying together to provide support during this difficult time.
