“I spoke to NC chief Dr Farooq Abdullah yesterday. We have decided to convene the legislative party meeting tomorrow that will be followed by Alliance meeting where the CM face of alliance will be finalised. After that we will go to Rajbhawan to stake claim on government formation,” Omar told reporters in Srinagar.

He said that this all process will take place in a few days. Earlier, he addressed workers at his Gupkar residence where he said voter’s job was over and it was the responsibility of NC leaders now to reciprocate the huge mandate given to the party. “You have played your role, now it is our duty to respond. We have to take care of your interests and work for your welfare,” he said.

Meanwhile, the NC chief Dr Farooq Abdullah, while congratulating the party workers who had assembled at his Gupkar residence, said that maintain unity and stay united. “Don’t fall prey to divisive forces. We have to work for your welfare, address your issues, address the issue of unemployment and drug abuse,” he said—(News Vibes of India)
