In an official statement, Malik clarified that these claims were entirely baseless and fabricated by unknown individuals who have no affiliation with Media association Pattan.

“These unfounded rumors are a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation and create confusion among the public as well as administration in Pattan sub-division.

The Media Association Pattan remains fully intact and functional, and there is no truth to the claims of it being dissolved or merged with any other body,” he said.

Malik further said that the association has already nominated its members and assigned them responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations within the organization.

“We are working with full commitment, and there is no need for any disruption within the community. The Media Association Pattan continues to serve its purpose effectively,” he added.

Malik also addressed the issue of fake statements being circulated on social media platforms, particularly in WhatsApp groups, and made it clear that the association would not tolerate such malicious propaganda.

“We reject these false narratives and want to assure the people of Pattan that the association remains dedicated to its mission.

Meanwhile Media Association Pattan urges the public to verify any information from credible sources before believing or sharing it.
