Kulgam, Oct, 21: As a mark of honour and part of commemorating the sacrifices of police martyrs, Kulgam police today kick started Volleyball and Badminton Tournaments at DPL Kulgam in which multiple teams of different schools/villages of District kulgam will participate.
The Tournaments were inaugurated by DC Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan-IAS and SSP kulgam Sahil Sarangal-IPS. During inaugural address, SSP kulgam appreciated all the teams for taking part in the event. He also stressed upon the young players of the District to allow their minds to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of sports.
It is pertinent to mention that kulgam Police is organising different sports, cultural, educational events and other Co-curricular activities for 10 days long period in the loving memory of Police Martyrs.
On the said occasion, other senior officers of Police, Army and CRPF of the District were also present.
