Pulwama, Nov 12: A young NEET aspirant from South Kashmir’s Pulwama district has started her journey as entrepreneur by making sustainable products, using locally sourced ingredients.
Aneesa Iqbal (18), a resident of Arihal area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district has been making handcrafted soaps, candles and many other items.
Speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer KNO, Aneesa said that she has been preparing for NEET examination and has been also pursuing her entrepreneurial dream of creating eco-friendly soaps, candles and is going to launch natural shampoos soon.
Aneesa said that her goal is to provide wellness products that are both effective and environmentally-friendly and so far, she has launched a few products and is also going to add more products.
“My handcrafted items including soaps and candles are gaining attention for their natural composition forcing health conscious customers to take these items,” she said.
“I have been managing both preparations for NEET examination along with the passion of entrepreneurship with the support of family as balancing both is a challenging thing,” she said.
Aneesa said that she has got a positive response from the customers so far that has encouraged her to extend her business.
She said that at a time when educated youth have been facing challenges in getting jobs, they must try to stand on their own legs by starting a small business.
If they will be steadfast and work with dedication, they definitely will get success and will become job providers instead of seekers.
Aneesa’s determination to succeed in both business and education makes her a role model for young people in Pulwama and beyond.
She is not only shaping the future of her own career but also encouraging others to explore the possibilities of entrepreneurship while pursuing their academic goals.
