Kulgam, Nov,16: A significant milestone was marked today at the Government Degree College (GDC) Kulgam, as Ms. Sakeena Masood, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, School Education, Health & Medical Education, and Social Welfare, laid the foundation stone for a major educational development project. The event was attended by a host of dignitaries, including Mr. M.Y. Tarigami, Hon’ble MLA of Kulgam, ADC Viqar Giri, and the Principal of GDC Kulgam, Syed Aezaz Ahmad Rizvi.

Ms. Masood, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the importance of the project for the local educational infrastructure. “This new development will provide a modern and improved learning environment for the students of GDC Kulgam,” she said. “The project will be completed within the stipulated time frame, and we are committed to ensuring that it benefits all the students studying here.”

The project, which will be executed by the R&B Division of Kulgam, aims to enhance the academic facilities at the college and improve the overall infrastructure for the benefit of students and faculty alike.

Principal Syed Aezaz Ahmad Rizvi also expressed his gratitude for the project, noting that it would play a key role in fostering a better academic environment at the college.

The ceremony marks a significant step forward in the government’s efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure in the region, with the project set to contribute to the growth and development of GDC Kulgam for years to come.
