Kulgam, November 30; In a bid to enhance preparedness and ensure swift response in case of law and order disturbances, the District Police Kulgam, under the supervision of SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS, conducted a mock drill on law and order at Kulgam. The drill, which saw the participation of around 200 police personnel from various Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) deployed across different police establishments, aimed at simulating real-time operations in response to potential law and order situations.
The mock drill focused on handling such incidents with minimal use of force while ensuring the safety and security of both the public and law enforcement. The exercise involved a detailed plan for the deployment of law and order components and riot control equipment to the site of an incident. The key objective was to provide hands-on training to the entire team, ensuring they are well-equipped to manage unforeseen disturbances effectively.
The mock drill was meticulously overseen by SSP Kulgam, Shri Sahil Sarangal, with the active involvement of all Supervisory Officers of District Kulgam. The exercise concluded successfully, showcasing the coordination, readiness, and professional competency of Kulgam Police in managing law and order situations. This initiative highlights the police force’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
