Kulgam, Dec, 02: Mohd Yousuf Tarigami, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Kulgam, today conducted a public darbar at the Town Hall in Yaripora, where he interacted with residents and listened attentively to their concerns.

The event provided an open platform for the people of the area to voice their issues, ranging from developmental challenges to concerns about basic amenities. Tarigami took the time to personally engage with each individual, offering assurances that their grievances would be addressed at the earliest.

During the darbar, a number of locals raised concerns about inadequate infrastructure, scarcity of basic facilities, and issues related to healthcare and education. Tarigami assured the gathering that he would take up the matter with relevant authorities to ensure immediate redressal.

“This is an opportunity to directly engage with the people, understand their problems, and work towards effective solutions,” Tarigami said, emphasizing his commitment to the welfare of the people of Kulgam.

The MLA further stressed the importance of community participation in the development process and encouraged the residents to remain proactive in addressing local issues. The public darbar was well-received by the locals, who appreciated the MLA’s initiative and willingness to listen to their concerns.

As the event concluded, Tarigami promised to follow up on the issues raised and reiterated his dedication to serving the needs of his constituents in Kulgam.
