Budgam, Dec 08: Many tourist vehicles were stranded after a fresh snowfall occurred at a popular tourist destination–Doodhpathri in Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The snowfall attracted a large number of tourists to the destination.
However, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), many tourist vehicles were stranded at the picturesque place.
Acting swiftly, the police, under the leadership of SHO Khansahib, Zahoor Turk, carried out a rescue operations and ensured the safe evacuation of the tourists to secure locations.
The rescue efforts continued late into the night.
Members of the ATV Association, led by President Aijaz Dinda, along with local residents, also played a significant role in assisting the tourists.
Tourists, while enjoying the fresh snowfall, praised the timely intervention of the police and administration. They acknowledged the efforts to free their vehicles and ensure their safety—(KNO)
