Kulgam; A devastating fire broke out in the village of Check Nagam DHpora late this evening, completely destroying four residential houses. The blaze spread rapidly, engulfing the homes and causing significant damage to property.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported, but the affected families have lost their homes and belongings.
Local residents, who attempted to contain the fire, were unable to prevent it from spreading due to its intensity. Fire services arrived on the scene shortly afterward, but by then, the houses were already fully engulfed in flames. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Emergency response teams from DHpora and Kulgam have been working diligently to control the fire.
