Kupwara, December 12: A Piping Ceremony was held today at the District Police Headquarters Kupwara for the promotion of Lady Insp Dalbir Kour, presently serving as SHO Women Police Station Kupwara, to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police The ceremony was presided over by SSP Kupwara, Shri Ghulam Jeelani-JKPS.
The event witnessed the presence of several officers, including Ghulam Mohd Bhat-JKPS, Additional SP Kupwara, Syed Mujahid-Ul-Haq-JKPS, DySP DAR Kupwara, and Mohd Rafee Rather-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Kupwara, alongside other senior officers of the District Police.
In his address, SSP Kupwara congratulated DySP Dalbir Kour on her well-deserved promotion and lauded her contributions as SHO Women Police Station Kupwara. He emphasized the significant role of women officer in the district police and expressed confidence in her ability to continue serving the department and the community with dedication and professionalism.
