Devsar, Dec,28: In a display of prompt action and commitment to public service, Police Station Devsar responded to distress calls during the recent heavy snowfall in the region.
Earlier today, a distress call was received reporting that two female patients, Tahera Banoo (wife of Mohd Ayoub Shah) and Rubeena (daughter of Mohd Ramzan), both residents of Banimulla, were stranded in the snowbound area of Chamgund. The patients urgently required transportation to their homes in Banimulla for essential medical treatment.
Despite strenuous efforts to clear the road from Chamgund to Banimulla, the relentless snowfall and treacherous conditions rendered the path impassable. Acting swiftly, the officers at Police Station Devsar, led by the undersigned, coordinated with local authorities and utilized a JCB to clear the road.
Braving the adverse weather, the police party, along with the JCB, successfully transported both patients to their residential address in Banimulla.
This timely intervention highlights the unwavering dedication of Police Station Devsar in serving the community, even in the face of challenging weather conditions.
Police Station Devsar urges the public to remain cautious and follow safety measures during severe weather conditions. In case of emergencies, the public is encouraged to contact local authorities for immediate assistance.locals thanked to SSP kulgam and SHO Rishi kumar
