Anantnag, Dec, 29: In the serene village of Pethbugh Dialgam, just 8 km from the bustling town of Anantnag in South Kashmir, lives Uzain Asif Bhat—a 13-year-old prodigy who has become the valley’s newest musical sensation.

Uzain’s melodies resonate with the soul, and his soothing voice has the power to move hearts. Whether performing on stage or singing at school events, his passion for music shines through, leaving audiences mesmerized.

A student of Scholars Scientific Institute, Uzain has graced numerous events with his performances of folk songs, Naats, and other soulful renditions. His ability to pour raw emotion into every note has set him apart from the crowd.

“I have loved music since I was a child, but there were no platforms to nurture my talent. I used to participate in cultural programs at school, singing Bollywood, Sufi, and Kashmiri songs. At first, I began uploading songs on YouTube, but they didn’t gain much attention. Still, I never gave up—I kept working harder to improve,” Uzain recalled with determination in his voice.

What makes Uzain’s journey even more inspiring is that he is entirely self-taught. Without formal training from any music academy or mentor, he has honed his skills by watching countless online videos. His greatest pillar of support has been his father, who encourages him at every step of the way.

Unlike most singers who earn through their art, Uzain’s father is the one investing in his dream. “My father has been my backbone. He spends his hard-earned money to buy all the music equipment I need and invests his energy in promoting my talent. I just wish there were sponsors to help my music reach more people,” Uzain said with gratitude.

Beyond the applause and admiration, Uzain holds an even bigger dream in his heart: to become a playback singer in Bollywood. “Music is my life, and I dream of one day lending my voice to the big screen. I hope that day comes soon,” he said with a hopeful smile.

Uzain Asif Bhat’s journey is a testament to passion, perseverance, and the power of dreams. With his enchanting voice and unwavering determination, this young artist is already winning hearts.
