Kulgam, December 31: A key meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) for the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) was held today at the Mini-Secretariat, Kulgam. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, who reviewed and approved 690 cases under various components of the HADP.
The DC also assessed the implementation status of a range of agricultural and developmental schemes across agriculture and allied sectors in the district. These included the HADP, DAKSH Kisan, Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), JK Comprehensive Agriculture and Allied Implementation Projects (JKCIP), and Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME).
Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO) Kulgam presented a detailed report on the progress of these schemes. It was revealed that a total of 17,817 applications have been approved under the HADP so far. Additionally, the DAKSH Kisan scheme registered 12,821 farmers, with 9,609 completing training sessions. The Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKG) App registered 10,534 farmers, and 178 Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (KSA) sessions were held during phase-3.
The DC instructed all departments to work diligently towards achieving 100% target fulfillment under all HADP projects to ensure maximum benefits for the farming community.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), CAO, Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO), and other officials from various line departments.
