Kulgam: In response to complaints from residents of Kandipora, Kulgam, about the accumulation of waste on local roads, the Municipal Council Kulgam took prompt action to address the issue. The council’s sanitation team was immediately deployed to clear the waste, ensuring a cleaner and safer environment for the community.
Idrees Ahmad, the Sanitation Nodal Officer of the Municipal Council Kulgam, explained that the regular door-to-door waste collection service had been disrupted due to heavy snowfall. He urged residents to refrain from discarding waste on public roads and streets, emphasizing the importance of proper waste disposal. Ahmad also reminded the public that violators of waste management norms would face penalties in accordance with local regulations.
